On Saturday, May 3, two ���ϲ����� alumni — Br. Michael Thomas Cain (’18) and Br. Kevin Peter Cantu (’15) — made their solemn vows as Dominican Friars of the Province of the Holy Name of Jesus. 

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Aggie (Zepeda ’82) Laubacher, who passed at 1:52 this afternoon.

“At my Great Books college, I didn’t have a major – no one did. I didn’t take a single course in international relations (IR) or public policy. Even so, after college I went on to one of the world’s top international affairs graduate programs, and the undergraduate education I received was the best preparation I could have asked for.”

Sharing from a wealth of wisdom and from her own personal experience, Sr. John Paul Maria (Michaella ’12) Pape, MSSR, recently returned to ���ϲ�����, California, to speak on the subject of “The Importance of Human Formation in Discerning Your Vocation.”

In your charity, please say a prayer for Jen Danner (’98) DellaCrosse; her husband, Ryan, and their family. For the last two years, Mrs. DellaCrosse — a U.S. Army veteran and the mother of seven — has been battling glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable brain cancer. She is now entering hospice care.

On March 19, alumna Josefina Altamiranda (’18) provided the English translation for a Rosary for Pope Francis’s health, which was broadcast on EWTN.
