Saturday, May 16, marks the originally scheduled date for 黑料不打烊鈥檚 2020 Commencement exercises, and even though the events will not take place as planned, the College will nonetheless celebrate and pray for its 95 newest alumni.

鈥淎lthough we are unable to hold Commencement at this time, the College will still award degrees to all of our new graduates on May 16,鈥 says Dean John Goyette, adding that diplomas will be mailed to the seniors鈥 homes. 鈥淎nd our chaplains will offer a special, livestreamed Mass for the seniors, accompanied by music from Dan Grimm (鈥76) and a small TAC choir. We hope that their fellow students, parents, and friends of the College will join us online to pray for the graduates.鈥

Meanwhile, plans are under way for a proper graduation ceremony, local restrictions permitting, in August or, if necessary, Memorial Day Weekend of 2021. 鈥淲e will wait as long as we must,鈥 says Dr. Goyette, 鈥渂ut one way or the other, we are determined to honor the Class of 2020 as soon as possible for its hard work and its gracious, faithful spirit in the face of adversity.鈥
